Lotus is moving beyond its traditional sports car territory with new models aimed at mainstream buyers, all powered by batteries. One of these will be a sedan, rumored to be called the Envya, a prototype of which has just been spotted.

Another vehicle we spotted was a Mini electric crossover that sits below the Countryman. It was previewed by the Aceman concept last July and the name is expected to enter production.

AC Cobra GT Roadster teaser teased for 2023 launch
AC Cars, the British company that built the Ace sports car used by Carroll Shelby in the 1960s to create the original Shelby Cobra, is still working on it and plans to introduce a new sports car this year. The car will be a modern take on the Cobra and feature Ford’s 5.0-liter V-8 under the hood.

Another model introduced this year is an electric SUV from Kia with a rugged look and a third row of seats. The car is the production version of the EV9 concept unveiled at the 2021 Los Angeles Auto Show, and a teaser was released this week.
