Alfa Romeo is celebrating the new year by teasing the mystery model. Rumor has it this is the hypercar that Alfa Romeo boss Jean-Philippe Impalato hinted at last summer. The supercar, likely to be called the 6C, will be the swan song for the internal combustion engine as Alfa Romeo moves to an all-electric lineup in a decade.
China’s Zeekr 001 may have replaced the Lucid Air as the new EV range king. The performance hatch has been updated for 2023 to include a CATL-supplied 140-kilowatt-hour battery that is said to provide a range of more than 600 miles. Which is the range king? We won’t know until the car comes here, because the U.S. and China have different rating systems.
Ken Block, founder of DC Shoes and the Hoonigan Racing Team, died Monday at the age of 55. The cause of death was a snowmobile accident near Block’s ranch in The Woodlands, Utah.
