It’s the first Wednesday of the year, which means it’s time again for Malaysia’s weekly fuel price update, with the Ministry of Finance announcing retail fuel prices for the week 5-11 January 2023.

The price of RON 97 petrol has not been adjusted again this week, which means that the fuel will continue to maintain its current price of RM3.35 per liter.

Of course, there is no change in the price of RON 95 petrol, which remains at the ceiling price of RM2.05 per liter set by the government in February last year. Likewise, diesel prices, Euro 5 B10 and B20 blends remain at RM2.15 per liter, while Euro 5 B7 is at RM2.35 per liter.

These fuel prices will be in effect from midnight tonight until Wednesday 11 January when the next set of updates will be published. This is the first edition of the weekly fuel pricing format this year and the 208th since it was launched in early 2019.
